The Sustainability Committee of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong is happy to announce its first plogging day on 15 December 2018!
Plogging is the latest fitness craze from Sweden. From the Swedish "plocka upp" (to 'pick up'), plogging combines jogging and picking up rubbish.
Meeting at Discovery Bay Plaza at 09:30, we will run/ hike to Mui Wo collecting rubbish along the way. At Mui Wo we will have a picnic with sustainable sandwiches, generously provided by Mäckish AB and Eat FRESH. The fastest runner will receive mentions in Dragon News and on the Swedcham website, and the person who collects the most rubbish will be awarded with a special prize! All ages are welcome!
Gloves and bags will be provided for collecting rubbish. Please bring your own reusable bottle for water… and remember to leave the plastic bag in the shop!
